Welcome to CAFE NIDO: Coffee & Books, a delightful coffee shop located at 2815 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90026. This charming café does more than just serve stellar brews; it offers a unique escape into a world of tropical vibes, lush greenery, and the comforting presence of books.

Stepping into CAFE NIDO is like entering a peaceful oasis. Surrounded by flowering plants and shaded outdoor seating, you can choose to settle into one of their many spaces—perfect for those looking to work, relax, or socialize. Customers rave about the ambiance, with one visitor describing it as a “breath of fresh air” that’s exceptionally cute for pictures and small gatherings. While the seating is predominantly hard and rustic, there are a few cozy chairs to sink into, especially for those who prefer a bit of comfort during their coffee break.

The menu is a delightful reflection of both creativity and quality. Start your culinary adventure with the Salsa Flight and indulge in the accompanying Chips and Guacamole for just $14.00. For a refreshing sip, choose between the Fresh Orange Juice or Coconut Juice at $8.00 each, perfect for quenching your thirst in their vibrant setting.

Of course, CAFE NIDO excels in its range of coffee offerings. Whether you’re a fan of the rich Espresso for $4.00 or you prefer the creamy texture of a Latte at $6.25, each cup is crafted with care and attention to detail. The matcha and coffee enthusiasts will appreciate the robust flavors in their Matcha Lattes, although you might want to prepare your wallet for a trip close to $9.50 for some options!

Notably, CAFE NIDO is praised by its customers for creating an atmosphere conducive to friendship and reflection. One regular expressed their affection, stating it's their favorite coffee shop on the planet, thanks to its amazing space and consistent high-quality beverages. Visitors enjoy gathering here after outdoor pursuits, making it an ideal post-hike stop for the local adventurer.

However, it’s worth noting a few quirks—such as the occasionally limited accessibility of power outlets for those needing to charge devices while sipping coffee, and potential parking challenges during busy weekend mornings. Yet, the thriving, friendly staff combined with the café's pristine cleanliness make it all worthwhile.

So why not make the trip to CAFE NIDO? Grab a book from their collection, sip on a refreshing drink, and soak in the lovely ambiance. The goat cheese croissant was good. But the best part of the scenery. I love being in green spaces. There was plenty of seating when I went but it soon filled up. The only thing that I didn’t like was the country music it didn’t go with the tropical vibes. But I just put on headphones and relaxed.

The food was great - the goat and cheese croissant was really good, I just wish it was a bit hotter! The vibes are super cute here and it’s a breath of fresh air There’s so many trees and plants and lots of seating options. Just not a lot of outlets!! Very cute for pictures and events!

It’s a nice spot to hangout. My friends and I came here after a hike and we all got drinks. It was decent but we stayed because of the patio and played some games. Friendly staff & very clean. Parking was hard to find on a Saturday morning though

Very beautiful and artsy decor! Cool crowds and vibes there. I enjoy getting some sun there in the afternoon. But my matcha latte was $9.50 LOL -1⭐ because the toilet was dirty, tiny and so smelly.

Come for the environment! This is a special atmosphere. The shaded outdoor space is beautiful. Fair warning, it’s not ideal for studying— pretty much all benches and very low stools. Also there are a few cushioned chairs but the rest is very hard seating, so may need to bring a cushion if you’re staying for a while. But it’s a great place to sit and reflect, journal, read, or catch up with friends. A small window with books you can read while you’re there, or rent/buy. Live DJ also makes it very fun! They have great music selection here and it’s a good vibe. Coffee is fine, nothing special but certainly not bad. A bit pricey, but typical LA. Service is not consistent— one barista was very sweet and came around taking everyone’s trash as we sat, but another barista was not attentive. My friend and I stood waiting to order without any acknowledgement, then she took my friend’s order and walked away without saying anything and without taking my order. Not personally a big rub for me, it is what it is, just something for potential visitors to anticipate. All that to say, definitely check it out if you’re in the area, just be aware that the reason it’s popular is the setting.

Lovely café with charming decor. You can pick up a book and read for free, which is a nice touch. The vibe is cool, and people seemed to be enjoying themselves. I did find it a bit pricey though—two matchas cost you $20!
